This site was created because I wish I had been born 40 years earlier than I was. Either that or I wish popular music would always lag 40 years behind the rest of the world. In any case, I created the site because the sounds of the ‘My Generation’ generation is still far better than any of today’s popular music.

To me, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Who represent the ultimate rock triumvirate, though by no means are they the only members of ‘Their Generation.’ Among many others, acts such as The Kinks, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Byrds, Bob Dylan, The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Yardbirds, Eric Clapton, Cream and The Velvet Underground helped record the generation’s soundtrack.
